History of microwaves

As a first class assignment, please submit an article of not more than 4 pages on the history of microwaves. It can be anything related to microwaves like radar, satellites, radio, mobile phone, etc. Include a short abstract and at least five (but not more than 10) references.

You have to submit the article in both softcopy and hardcopy to me by Tuesday, July 15, 2008, not later than 5:00pm. Failure to do so would result in a grade of E. The softcopy can be emailed to my secretary's email which was given in class.

If you have any questions, please comment on this posting.
